Fiddler/Violinist & Storyteller, Frank FerrelĀ is widely regarded as a leading authority on North American traditional fiddle music, as well as being an Emmy Award winning writer/producer for radio and television.

As a Fiddler, Frank has made numerous appearances on the nationally broadcast American radio series, A Prairie Home Companion, and is included on their anthology recording, PHC Tourists. He is a regular featured performer atnumerous festivals and concert performances throughout North America. His major label CD release, Yankee Dreams, was chosen by the Library of Congress for inclusion in their Select List of 25 Recordings of American Folk Music. In 2017 Frank was inducted into theĀ North American Fiddlerās Hall of Fame.Ā

As a Storyteller, Frank honed his craft writing, producing, and hosting numerous national and local radio and television programs for presenters including, WGBH in Boston, The Discovery Channel, Maine Public Broadcasting, PRI and NPR. He won numerous awards for his broadcast stories including an Emmy, and two Telly Awards, along with seven Emmy nominations. He is the author of five music and story books, and a biography, A Couple of Coffee.

My solo performances are adapted for all levels of senior care from independent living to memory care.
Length of programs is typically 1-hour, but can vary depending on your needs.
My standard fee is $175, per one-hour performance.
